I am a visual artist and painting is my refuge — a space for depth and storytelling, where raw emotion is given form through layered expression. I work with painting and drawing as a language of life itself — the stories of sorrow and joy a resonance that invites dialogue with the viewer. 

 

Trained at The Royal Danish Academy - Architecture Design KADK (Danish Design School) and with experience in scenography and sculpture in Berlin, I found my way back to painting as the place where human stories and emotion can unfold directly. My dark surfaces function as both resistance and holding space — areas where the image can remain unresolved, and where color thickens into an intensity that provokes reflection and inward movement. 

 

The works live in the tension between the raw and the poetic, and for me, between frustration and creative joy — a dreaming search for  our shared humanity  - the dark side and the love, which is to say, life with all it's contrast and imperfection and not for decoration..
